Italian Aircraft Carrier Al Pino Visits Karachi for Defence Collaboration | CISNewsStudio1s

The Italian aircraft carrier *Al Pino* has docked at Karachi port from 14 to 16 October, underscoring growing industrial and defence collaboration between Italy and Pakistan. The vessel, equipped with advanced frigate technology, serves as the venue for today’s Defence Industry Forum, organized by Italy’s Secretariat General of Defence and National Armament Directorate with support from the Federation of Italian Companies for Aerospace, Defence and Security.

Italian Ambassador Marilena Armellini will lead a press conference aboard the ship to discuss the visit’s objectives. The *Al Pino* was greeted by senior officials of the Pakistan Navy and the Italian ambassador. Last year, the Italian Navy’s *MOROSINI* visited Karachi and held bilateral exercises with Pakistan Navy. The visit will conclude with a joint naval exercise between Pakistan Navy ship *Shahjahan*, PAF fighters, and the *Al Pino* to enhance interoperability.
