Lewis Hamilton has voiced his disapproval of Formula 1’s governing body, describing the FIA’s inquiry into Toto and Susie Wolff as ‘unacceptable.’ The FIA initiated a conflict-of-interest investigation into the married couple, only to conclude it just two days after its commencement. 

Hamilton expressed disappointment, stating that the FIA’s actions questioned the integrity of Susie Wolff, whom he lauded as “one of the most incredible female leaders we’ve ever had in our sport.” He emphasized that this inquiry was undertaken “without questioning [her], without any evidence.”

While Hamilton did not explicitly mention Toto Wolff in his comments, he alluded to the accusations against his team principal, whom he had praised earlier. The seven-time world champion’s remarks, made during a news conference preceding the FIA’s end-of-season prize-giving gala in Baku, coincided with Mercedes considering legal options in response to the situation.
