Russia is struggling to maintain production of its advanced Su-57 fighter jets, facing significant obstacles compounded by Western sanctions. According to *The Telegraph*, these sanctions restrict access to essential electronic components, including Germany’s MPPU-50 communications modules.

To date, only about 20 Su-57s have been produced, a modest number compared to Russia’s fleet of around 1,000 combat aircraft. Although suspending Su-57 production is improbable due to the political implications for President Putin’s administration, future deliveries will likely be sporadic, limited to a few units annually.
