HSTCSG Transits Strait of Dover for NATO Operations in North Sea | CISNewsStudio1s

The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG) has navigated the Strait of Dover into the North Sea, commencing a series of military exercises with NATO allies and regional partners. This operation strengthens the strategic relationship between the United States and European partners, reinforcing mutual defense and maritime security.
On October 14, 2024, the HSTCSG, currently deployed in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area, entered the North Sea to participate in these joint operations. Rear Adm. Sean Bailey highlighted the historical significance of the transit and reaffirmed the U.S.’ commitment to NATO’s security and collective defense.
