The US Supreme Court Unanimously Rejects States’ Attempts to Block Donald Trump from Presidential Candidacy in November Election.

Justices unanimously overturned Colorado’s ruling to disqualify Trump from the Republican primary ballot, affirming his eligibility to run for president.

In various states, judges invoked a provision within the US Constitution, known as the anti-insurrection clause, to prohibit Trump from holding office. Similar efforts have arisen in Illinois and Maine, where Section 3 of the 14th Amendment specifically disqualifies individuals who have participated in insurrection or rebellion from assuming public office.
