NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has issued a stark warning to Europe, saying the continent cannot defend itself without the United States. Speaking before the European Parliament, Rutte dismissed calls for European strategic autonomy, stating that any belief Europe can protect itself without US military support is unrealistic.
