Former President Donald Trump has called an urgent White House meeting to discuss the next steps on Venezuela, according to senior sources. The Oval Office session, set for 5 p.m. Monday, will bring together key national security figures including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Deputy Stephen Miller are also expected to attend. The meeting follows intensified pressure on Nicolás Maduro after Trump reportedly delivered a blunt ultimatum during a November 21 call, urging the Venezuelan leader to step down and offering safe passage for his family if he agreed to resign immediately.
