On Sunday, Donald Trump once again launched personal attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris, questioning her mental state, despite calls from some GOP allies to focus on policy rather than insults. Speaking at a rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, Trump remarked, “Joe Biden became mentally impaired. It’s sad, but lying Kamala Harris, honestly, I believe she was born that way.”

These comments echoed similar remarks he made the previous night at a rally in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where he stated, “Kamala is mentally impaired.” Trump also blamed Harris for illegal immigration under the Biden administration, saying on Saturday, “If you think about it, only a mentally disabled person could’ve allowed this to happen to our country.”
