Ukraine reportedly used British-French Storm Shadow missiles to strike Russian territory for the first time, according to sources and weapons experts. Fragments of the missiles were identified in the Russian village of Marino, 35 miles from the Ukrainian border. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov neither confirmed nor denied the strike, emphasizing Ukraine’s capability to defend itself.

Storm Shadow missiles, supplied by the UK and France, boast a range of 155 miles and have been previously used within Ukraine. This development follows Ukraine’s deployment of US-made ATACMS missiles, highlighting its expanding arsenal for counterattacks amid ongoing conflict.
