Footage has surfaced showing Ukraine’s military targeting and destroying a $100 million Russian ‘Nebo-M’ radar system on October 3rd. The radar, located in Bryansk Oblast, Russia, monitored Ukrainian airspace up to 700 kilometers. The strike, attributed to the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade using US-supplied ATACMS missiles, significantly hinders Russia’s ability to detect and intercept aerial and ballistic threats.

This loss further depletes the Kremlin’s radar capabilities. Ukrainian sources highlighted how this “radar blindness” will enhance reconnaissance and drone operations along Ukraine’s northern border. Newsweek reported on the event but could not independently verify the claims.
