A man set six people on fire at a Jewish community event in Boulder, Colorado, in what authorities are calling an antisemitic attack. The FBI and local police identified the suspect as 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, who allegedly yelled “Free Palestine!” during the assault. The incident occurred during the Boulder “Run for Their Lives” rally, a weekly event supporting hostages taken during the October 7, 2023 attacks in Israel. The Anti-Defamation League confirmed the event’s focus. The attack follows a similar incident in Washington, DC, where two Israeli Embassy staffers were killed by a gunman shouting the same phrase.
