Four people were killed in a shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, according to state law enforcement sources. Authorities report that approximately 30 others were injured, though it remains unclear how many of these injuries were due to gunshots. A suspect is currently in custody.

The incident occurred in a community located about an hour outside of Atlanta. Video footage from outside the school shows a heavy police presence and several ambulances on the scene. Grady Health System in Atlanta confirmed that one gunshot wound patient was transported to their facility via helicopter.
