Around 45 nations are participating in the landmark Digital Foreign Direct Investment (DFDI) conference in Islamabad, highlighting Pakistan’s growing digital economy. Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced over 75 foreign investors and CEOs from more than 50 companies are attending. Over 100 Pakistani IT firms will showcase their innovations. Cybersecurity, investment reforms, and international collaboration with the Digital Cooperation Organisation (DCO) are key themes. Pakistan will assume DCO presidency, while reforms in FBR aim to create a more investor-friendly digital ecosystem, supported by the World Bank’s digitalisation initiative.
