Hanwha Aerospace has inked a new contract with Poland worth 3.45 trillion won to provide K9 self-propelled howitzers, with the exchange rate at 1,304 won to 1 US dollar. On Monday, Hanwha announced the signing of its second agreement with the Polish Armament Agency, securing a deal for 152 self-propelled howitzers.

This follows a framework agreement reached in July of the previous year, where Hanwha committed to supplying a total of 672 K9s to Poland. The initial contract for 212 howitzers was formally signed three months later.

Although the second contract was initially anticipated in the first half of the current year, it faced a delay of approximately six months. Hanwha’s ongoing collaboration with Poland underscores the company’s commitment to delivering advanced military capabilities on an international scale.
