John Kelly Says Trump Wanted Generals Like Hitler’s, Calls Him a Fascist | CISNewsStudio1s

John Kelly, retired Marine general and Donald Trump’s former White House chief of staff, has made explosive comments about the ex-president in interviews published Tuesday, just two weeks before Election Day.

Kelly said Trump fits “the general definition of fascist” and expressed admiration for “the kind of generals Hitler had.” Kelly, who served as chief of staff from 2017 to 2019, told The New York Times that Trump “certainly prefers the dictator approach to government.”

He also confirmed to The Atlantic that Trump once expressed frustration that U.S. military personnel didn’t show him the same deference that Hitler’s generals showed the Nazi leader during World War II. Trump’s campaign has denied the claims, calling them “absolutely false.”
