Netanyahu Rejects Ceasefire and Hostage Deal Likelihood with Hamas | CISNewsStudio1s

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu firmly dismissed the possibility of a ceasefire and hostage agreement with Hamas in Gaza, contradicting the optimistic signals from the Biden administration. Speaking to Fox News, Netanyahu stated, “There’s not a deal in the making. Unfortunately, it’s not close.”

Netanyahu’s remarks stand in stark contrast to the hopeful statements from U.S. officials. President Joe Biden had suggested on Sunday that a deal was imminent, and a senior administration official claimed on Wednesday that 90% of the agreement had been completed. Netanyahu, however, countered these assertions, calling them “exactly inaccurate.”
