A leading American polling firm has released its latest survey, bringing positive news for Vice President Kamala Harris. According to the Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa poll, conducted by Selzer & Co., Donald Trump leads Harris by a narrow margin, 47% to 43%, which is within the poll’s margin of error.
This is a surprising result in a state that Trump had won comfortably in both previous elections. The poll was conducted last week, prior to the apparent assassination attempt on Trump on Sunday.
