In an NBC interview aired Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump voiced sharp frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the ongoing war in Ukraine. Trump warned that if Russia fails to cooperate on ending the conflict, he would impose secondary tariffs on all Russian oil exports. The Kremlin swiftly responded through spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, stating that President Putin remains open to dialogue but that no new meeting is currently scheduled. Meanwhile, on March 31st, Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s envoy for international cooperation, told Izvestia that Moscow and Washington have initiated talks on jointly producing rare earth metals from Russian sources, according to 20 Minutes.
