On Friday, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 116 satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This mission, known as Transporter 11, had been delayed from its original July date.
The payloads included the European Space Agency’s Arctic Weather satellite, UK-based Surrey Satellites’ Tyche satellite, Japan-based iQPS’ QPS-SAR No. 8 satellite, and US-based Planet Labs’ Tanager-1 satellite. SpaceX is expected to confirm the successful deployment of these payloads following the launch.
