Rising tensions between Thailand and Cambodia have coincided with a violent incident in South Korea, where a group of Cambodians reportedly attacked four Thai nationals in a Mokpo karaoke room. According to Thai media, the confrontation escalated when the Thais identified their nationality, resulting in two victims sustaining head injuries from beer bottle strikes before the attackers fled. The victims were E-7 visa holders, and the case spread online among Thai communities. The assault occurred as Thai-Cambodian border clashes resumed following a broken ceasefire, adding further strain to already volatile relations.
